Shift Media launches business intelligence service
New source of research and analysis for UK’s educational markets.
LONDON, 23st JUNE 2004.
Education consultancy Shift Media has launched a new business intelligence service for suppliers to the UK’s fast-changing education and learning markets.
Shift Media Syndicated Business Intelligence provides research reports on critical issues in UK education markets. The first areas to be investigated are the recently completed report on schools’ spending on electronic materials and profitable textbook supplements for the HE sector.
Shift Media launched the service to focus on specific areas of concern currently overlooked by existing research. “A lot of our clients face similar issues about changes in their markets,” said Shift Media’s Claire Cameron. “Shift Media Syndicated Business Intelligence offers a cost-effective way to obtain market surveys with a commercial focus. Our background is in developing and selling products, so our approach is very practical."
Research findings from Shift Media Syndicated Business Intelligence will be available twice yearly for the Higher Education, Further Education and Schools market to start. Subscribers receive a written report and a presentation from Shift Media, can opt in to a briefing, and are able to recommend areas for future investigation.
Cameron said that while software developers and publishers have shown strongest interest so far, the new service will help any educational supplier make sense of their competitive environment.
